Born from a passion for South American live-fire cooking and fútbol, Argentine movie producer turned restaurateur Sebastian Aloi is bringing a taste of his home to Miami with the opening of MUCHAAACHOS. The collaborative restaurant offers a parrillada experience with an open-fire grill and celebrates all things fútbol - a fundamental part of Argentinian culture. The restaurant now occupies the former Las Vacas Gordas space in Normandy Isles and aspires to become a neighborhood spot for locals and visitors alike.

“I am thrilled to share MUCHAAACHOS with the city of Miami,” says Aloi. “With Argentina’s third World Cup win and Lionel Messi’s recent move to the InterMiami team, there has never been more excitement around fútbol and Argentinian culture in Miami than there is now. The team and I are incredibly eager to share an Argentine parrilla experience with the community and continue celebrating all things Argentina with the city. As for the name, it is rooted in the pride of the sport and for our country. We chanted muchaaachos throughout our homes and the streets during the 2020 Qatar World Cup championship; it became our anthem and a part of who we are.”

The culinary experience at MUCHAAACHOS is anchored by offerings a la parrilla and an extensive list of grilled proteins, Vegetables, and Argentine classics. to complement the food, the team created a selection that heavily features wines from Argentina and from Spain, Italy, Chile, and Uruguay. The beverage menu includes a full bar with a selection of classic cocktails and vermouths from Argentina and Spain.

The 2,000-square-foot restaurant features 70 seats indoors and 20 seats on the outdoor terrace. The restaurant adopts a minimalistic approach and pays tribute to fútbol with its aesthetic, featuring world-renowned athletes, from Diego Maradona to David Beckham and Lionel Messi. Guests will see nods to fútbol throughout the restaurant, from the logo and menu design to the staff uniforms and even the bathroom decor.
